IPL: Ahead is the grim irony of fate, isn’t so?

Please upload a picture that would show Mr. Lalit Modi, Chairman: IPL of BCCI, sitting on the floor at the door-step of the Hon’ble Home Minister, Government of India.

Leave it; let’s come to the point. We are proud of India, more precisely, of our Cricket Team. Presently, faced with a critical problem we are simply bewildered. During the same span of time both Lok Sabha Election and IPL: T-20 event will be in the top gear. Everyday our society surrounding politics and sports will appear extremely enthusiastic.

At the same time we may have to pay the price to a great extent. Who knows how hearty is the preparation in the world of terrorism that needs to have the maximum publicity in lieu of indiscriminate massive impact here, there–everywhere in India? We are aware of the grim irony of fate, still emotionally we are helpless.

Of course, it is very difficult to find out a solution. In spite of all the adversities we are supposed to take a decision. And that looking towards the safety of our country we should be rational. Let us raise some points to settle something once and for all.

1. It might be a grave concern to the administration. Candidly, why should we, the common people, consider it as a great problem? Let there run, side by side or enmeshed, Lok Sabha election and IPL of BCCI. But who will be wise enough to take the responsibility of making it a complete success? If any untoward incident happens unconfined, the government being in the role of a mere child will be taken into task. The Home Ministry is completely aware of it. Then how can the Home Minister show green signal to maintain IPL in its usual form?

2. Unless IPL is organized in due time, the prestige of India will be at stake. This is just the second year of its inauguration. If IPL is not allowed to run who will bear the burden of great loss the BCCI is likely to incur? Its reputation will simply be blared.

3. If anything is amicably settled, will the renowned cricketers from abroad participate? In that case how inspiring the respectability of IPL will be preserved? Again, will it be peaceful and at all profitable? The critics and media at home and abroad will tear India playing gigs and puzzles in very many ways.

4. However, if security is of serious concern, why don’t we make good the inadequacy taking a large number of security personnel from the countries under SAARC? In that case will they be so very reliable? Of course, this is a far-fetched idea. Where leaders cut sorry figures, jokes in different form will be in the air, willn’t?

5. Straightforwardly, let us draw the conclusion. Who is to blame for such an awkward situation where India runs a risk? Isn’t the Chief Commissioner of the Office of Election Commission of India? Excuse me; when they kept in mind the examination of schools and colleges and that again the harvesting period of food grains of the farmers of India, they ought to have thought a little about the inauguration of IPL of BCCI? After all they too are the great lovers of this elegance, aren’t they?

In the perspective of and amidst these deliberate misunderstandings we should be little thoughtful. Leaving aside the stalwart leaders, the fortune’s favorites, in either zone what could we suggest to the rank and file of our vast motherland? Nothing absolutely. Whatever comes on our way we have no option but to accept the grim irony of our fate. “To be or not to be” let us hope for the best.

Thanks for the picture kindly uploaded by our glorious Instablogs Team. This is why we specially appreciate the officials of the said team. I owe much to them.

It has been clearly stated that nothing could be done to enhance the spirit of the Indian Premier League. All attempts to break the deadlock over the schedule of IPL on Monday suffered a fresh blow. The Center rejects outright the enormous changes in the fixture. The organizers are advised to consult the state governments before finalizing the schedule.

None knows what’s there in the store of BCCI. It is very much disappointing that our country is in a mess. Such a problem and its solution are often poles apart.

May God save us to meet the need of the hour?
