INC of W.B. thrown by Mamata in the dust under scorching sun

With folded hands I beg you apology for the great loss you suffer casting vote in favour of alliance. I do feel for you. How miserably you are betrayed by your friends who happen to be our healthy partner! It is simply an uncomfortable position we are put to rest for no fault of ours. Is this at all acceptable? They will have to face the awful upshot in near future. Soon they would realize what they have done. May God bless them?

Don’t be disheartened. I will give you in return the best possible when you feel a strong hold in every sphere of life. After all, I am the Railway Minister and my service to in and around Siliguri is likely to be beyond common comprehension. I will come here again and again and look into your problems.

Communication will be easier; business will grow by a large amount. Thus Miss Mamata Banerjee, Trinamool Supremo, roared before a mammoth crowd on Sunday, the 04 Sept. 2009 at Siliguri of West Bengal. What a great implication of these words! Unassailable facts to INC.

Yes, before Siliguri Corporation Election the alliance of INC and TMC fought against the Leftist. As we all know there was a tie between them. Each having 15 seats and the leftist collectively, 17 met the end results. Since nothing could be settled amicably, as regards election of Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Chairman both the Congress independently filed nominations. But on October 01 INC could find no way but to untie the coalition. They took shelter under the shadow of the Leftist and won the Board being 32 against only 15 of TMC. Oh, what an embarrassing situation it was! Shamefully, INC and CPM lie down on the same bed!

Mamata strongly opposed what each and every leader of INC said about the unavoidable situation. ‘It is just a local issue. This won’t hamper the coalition in any way.’ Mamata couldn’t check her anguish—“What do they want to mean? From local to global everywhere a status is to be maintained. No misinterpretation should blur the image of alliance.

Politics may change its hue from Center to States but that should be well-acclaimed. We gave them unconditional support at the Center; they would certainly offer the same to us at the state level when we stand majority in W.B.” I am not against alliance which would determine the fate of the Leftist in the ensuing elections. We must honour each other and fight for a radical change.” Should you however be attentive in the gathering on Sunday, you might have heard some forceful words from the reliable lips of Mamata Banerjee; she has really something in store to depend on.

The thunderbolt from Mamata was obviously quite inevitable. She gave her clear signal—“Although it is a question of alliance, in West Bengal we, the Trinamool Congress, I do reiterate, being strong enough should have the rein in our hand and I am to speak the final word.” She might have realized in the meantime that once you change your partner all of a sudden, it is likely; you will behave in the same manner again and again as and when a state of affairs will demand of making the most of the situation.

Strangely, the very moral sense is at stake, isn’t it? Yes, by all means. Of course, in power politics changing partner just before going to bed is not to condemn. But a fair deal is always encouraged to enhance the spirit of better understanding and wide-ranging prosperity.

When will CPM realise that a party which allows its Chief Minister to throw its ideology to the winds is digging its own grave. If Mamta gets into the Writers Building, it will be because the CPM paved the way for it
